How to read the risk score

The 0–100 score shows how much of the address's funds is linked to risky sources and how close that link is.

0–30

Low

Funds come mostly from exchanges and ordinary wallets. Such coins are usually accepted without questions.

31–70

Medium

Some links to P2P, gambling or unidentified services. An exchange may ask questions.

71–90

High

A notable share from mixers, scams or darknet markets. High risk of a freeze on an exchange.

91–100

Severe

Direct links to sanctions, theft or ransomware. Better not to accept these coins.

When you need an AML check

A check costs less than a frozen deposit. Typical cases:

Before a P2P trade

Check the USDT buyer's or seller's address before you hand over money or goods.

Before an exchange deposit

Exchanges freeze tainted deposits. Make sure the coins are clean before sending them to Binance, Bybit or OKX.

OTC and large transfers

Check the counterparty before every large deal and keep the link to the report.

Payments from customers

Accept crypto for goods or services? See where the money came from.

Your own wallet

Got a transfer from a stranger? Find out whether it spoiled your address's history.

If funds got frozen

The report helps you see which link raised questions at the exchange or service.

Coins and networks we can check

Monero and Zcash cannot be scored by design — their transactions are private.

What the risk categories mean

The report splits the address's funds by source. The key categories:

Sanctions
Addresses and services on sanctions lists such as OFAC SDN. The highest risk.
Darknet market
Marketplaces selling illegal goods and services.
Mixer
Services that blend coins from many users to hide where they came from.
Scams and theft
Fraudulent projects, hacks and stolen funds.
Gambling
Online casinos and betting. Many exchanges treat it as a reason for extra review.
P2P exchange
Trades between individuals. Not dangerous in itself, but raises the score.
Exchange
Centralized exchanges that verify their customers. They usually lower the risk.
Unidentified service
Activity the analytics couldn't attribute to a known service.

We check incoming funds before they reach you

Matrimix runs AML not only on request. Every incoming payout from a swap goes through quarantine and an AML check before it is used for wallet withdrawals.

FAQ

What is a crypto wallet AML check?

It's an analysis of where the coins on an address came from. A blockchain analytics service traces the transaction history, shows what share of the funds is linked to exchanges, ordinary wallets or risky sources such as mixers, scams and sanctioned parties, and gives an overall risk score from 0 to 100.

Can I check a wallet without signing up?

Yes. This page needs no account, email or documents: paste the address, pay a $1 invoice in USDT, and the report appears right here. You can save the link to the report.

How much does a check cost?

$1 per address. On the website you pay an invoice in USDT (TRC20, ERC20 or BEP20). In the Matrimix wallet you pay from your balance in any coin, and the first checks each month are free.

How do I check USDT TRC20 for dirty funds?

Choose the "USDT · TRC20" network, paste the address starting with T and pay the invoice. The report shows the risk score, the shares of sources (exchanges, P2P, mixers and others) and the sanctions status.

Which networks can be checked?

USDT on TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20, USDC on ERC20, plus BTC, ETH, TRX, BNB, LTC and SOL. Monero and Zcash can't be scored: their transactions are private.

What should I do if the risk is high?

Don't rush to accept the coins or send them to an exchange. Ask the counterparty for another address or an explanation of where the funds came from. If the coins are already yours, keep the report: it helps if an exchange asks questions.

Will a check protect me from an exchange freeze?

It lowers the risk but can't guarantee the outcome: every exchange has its own rules and analytics providers. Treat the report as one signal among others.

Where does the data come from?

The risk score comes from a professional blockchain analytics service. Matrimix screens every address against the OFAC SDN sanctions list for free.

What if the payment arrives after the timer?

The timer limits the time to pay, but we keep watching the invoice for another day. If the payment arrives later, the check runs and the report appears at the same link.

Do you keep my address?

We keep the checked address and the report so we can show them at your link. We don't ask for email, phone or documents, and the check record holds no IP address.
