Frequently asked questions

Wallet, transfers, swaps, fees and privacy — short, honest answers.

What is Matrimix?

Matrimix is a crypto wallet in Telegram. You keep USDT, BTC, GRAM and 15+ coins, send money to friends by Matrimix ID for free, pay with virtual cards, buy Telegram Stars, Premium and gift cards, check addresses for AML risk and swap coins inside Matrimix through an aggregator with its own routing engine.

Does Matrimix hold my funds?

It depends on the product. On a regular swap the coins are sent straight to your address, so Matrimix does not keep them. The optional private swap passes through our hub wallet for a short time, which is disclosed. The Telegram wallet is custodial: balances are held by Matrimix so that transfers between users are instant and free.

What is GRAM? Is it Toncoin?

Yes. Toncoin, the native coin of the TON network, was renamed GRAM. In Matrimix it is shown as GRAM; the network is still TON, and existing addresses and balances did not change.

Which coins does Matrimix support?

The wallet keeps USDT (TRC20, TON, Solana, ERC20, BEP20), USDC, BTC, ETH, GRAM (formerly Toncoin), SOL, TRX, BNB, LTC and DOGE across 15+ networks. Swaps also support XMR, XRP and ZEC. Popular pairs have their own pages with a live rate.

What fees does Matrimix charge?

On the exchange, every quote shows the full cost against the market rate: the exchange spread, network fees and our fee together. In the wallet, deposits and transfers by Matrimix ID are free; a withdrawal costs the network fee plus a small fixed fee shown before confirmation.

Do I need to register to use Matrimix?

The exchange on the site needs no registration: no accounts, passwords or logins. You choose a pair, enter your receiving address and send the deposit. The wallet works in Telegram through your Telegram account, and in the browser at app.matrimix.net, where you sign in with Telegram or with a PIN and password. No email or phone either way.

Do I need to verify my identity to swap on Matrimix?

No. To swap on Matrimix you do not create an account and do not verify identity: there are no names, emails or phone numbers. Every payout and refund address is still screened against the OFAC sanctions list.

Is Matrimix legit?

Matrimix publishes how it works, its fees, terms, AML policy and live service status. Deposit addresses are signed by Matrimix so you can check them, and we never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. Use your own judgement and start with a small amount.

Is Matrimix a mixer?

No. Matrimix is a crypto wallet in Telegram with a built-in swap. The private swap is an ordinary exchange through Monero or Zcash; we screen addresses against sanctions lists and refuse funds linked to sanctions or crime.

Does Matrimix log IP addresses?

We collect only what is needed to run the service and comply with the law. Matrimix does not geolocate visitors, IP addresses are removed from application logs, and the site has no third-party trackers or fingerprinting. For some exchange operations technical connection data may be kept for a limited time to execute the swap and prevent fraud; it is then deleted automatically. Over Tor (our onion mirror) no such data is kept. Details are in the privacy policy.

How are refunds handled on Matrimix?

Matrimix refunds a swap without identity if it cannot complete — for example when a deposit arrives late or below the minimum. Provide a refund address when you order, and on most routes refunds are automatic. One exception to know: if a deposit is held for an AML (compliance) review, the refund is made manually, only to the address you paid from — not the refund address — and can take several days. Pay from a wallet you control, not from an exchange account.

How long does a swap take on Matrimix?

A Matrimix swap usually completes within minutes once your deposit confirms on-chain. The exact time depends on network confirmations for the coin you send and current network load. The order status page refreshes on its own, so you can watch progress without any JavaScript.
