Anthropic sells Claude Pro and the higher Max plans for card payment only. To pay from a USDT or USDC balance you need a card funded with stablecoins. In Matrimix that is the Premium card: a virtual Visa in US dollars, issued and topped up inside Telegram, with no per-purchase fee. This guide covers the steps, Matrimix fees and the limitations worth knowing in advance.

Which card to choose

There is nothing to choose: Matrimix has one card — Premium — and it works for everything.

ParameterPremium
Network and currencyVisa, balance in US dollars
Issued inSingapore, number starts with 4
What it is forsubscriptions (Claude, ChatGPT, Netflix), AI tools, advertising, cloud, travel, one-off purchases
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Payyes
Per-purchase fee$0
Validity and PIN2 years, no PIN

The issue price and the top-up fee are on the cards page.

Step by step

  1. Put stablecoins in the wallet. Top up the Matrimix wallet with USDT (TRC20, TON, Solana, ERC20, BEP20) or USDC (Solana, ERC20). Deposits are free; the sending network charges its own fee.
  2. Issue the Premium card. In the Mini App open Cards, choose Premium and a starting balance. The full price is shown before you confirm.
  3. Open billing in Claude. On claude.ai choose to upgrade, or open billing in settings, and pick the plan. Check the current price there: it depends on the plan, taxes and the card's country.
  4. Enter the details. Copy the number, expiry and CVV from the Mini App. No cardholder name is tied to the card — type your own in Latin letters. If the form asks for an address, use a Singapore one: the card's country is Singapore.
  5. Confirm 3DS. If a confirmation code is requested, it arrives in the Matrimix bot in Telegram.
  6. Mind the renewal. Claude renews monthly or yearly from the same card. Keep enough balance and top up in advance.

Fees

  • Card issue: one-off; current price on the cards page.
  • Top-up fee: a percentage of the starting balance and of every top-up; the exact amount is shown in the app before you confirm.
  • Purchase: $0 — no Matrimix fee on any Claude renewal.
  • Merchant refund: the issuer keeps 8% of the refunded amount.
  • Currency: the card balance is in USD; charges in other currencies are converted at the Visa rate.

Good to know

  • Each merchant decides. Whether a card is accepted is up to the merchant and its payment provider. There is no guarantee for any specific service. If Claude declines the card, the money stays on it.
  • Service availability. The card does not change where Claude works. Anthropic decides which countries the service is available in; follow its rules.
  • Buying in the mobile app. A subscription inside the iOS or Android app goes through Apple or Google billing with their own card-country rules. Paying on the website is simpler.
  • Not enough balance at renewal. A failed renewal can pause the subscription. Top up a few days before the date.
  • Blocked categories. Casinos and betting, adult sites, buying crypto and forex are declined, and the issuer may block the card. Claude and other AI tools are not among them.
