Stablecoins for digital goods — why USDT and USDC
Contents

Digital goods in Matrimix are paid with the stablecoins USDT and USDC: one stablecoin equals one dollar of the price. The price doesn't move with the market — what the screen shows is what gets charged. You can fund the balance on TRON, TON, Solana, Ethereum and BNB Chain. A travel eSIM is paid the same way, at its dollar price — see buy an eSIM with USDT.

Why not bitcoin or TON

Steam, Stars and gift-card prices are pegged to the dollar. Paying with a volatile coin would mean padding the price for rate moves during the order. A stablecoin removes that padding. If your balance holds another coin, swap it to USDT right in the Matrimix wallet before buying.

Which network to fund from

  • USDT on TRON (TRC20) — the most common network, supported by nearly every exchange.
  • USDT on TON — handy if your coins are already in a Telegram wallet.
  • USDT or USDC on Solana — fast and cheap transfers.
  • Ethereum and BNB Chain — if your coins are already there; Ethereum network fees are higher.

All of them work for purchases from the balance — the funding network doesn't change the item price.

What you pay

The final USD price is shown before payment. There is no separate fee for paying from the balance. Network fees apply only when you fund the wallet — the blockchain charges them, not Matrimix.

FAQ

Can I pay straight from an exchange?

No, fund your Matrimix balance first — payment comes from it. That lets us lock the price and run the order instantly.

What happens to my money if the order fails?

It returns to your balance in the same coin you paid with.
